On June 20, 2024, RST Rostock System-Technik had the pleasure of welcoming the Mayor of Rostock, Eva-Maria Kröger, accompanied by the Managing Director of Rostock Business, Christian Weiß.

We are very grateful for the stimulating discussions on the topics of recruiting skilled workers and employee retention.

We were particularly enlightened by our visitors’ extensive interest in our portfolio and our future projects in aviation and space – e.g., in the area of sustainable propulsion systems for airplanes or logistics drones.

A short company presentation was followed by a tour of the RST building, led by our Managing Director Martin Sauerschnig, Maja Zierl, Head of HR, and Marcus Paschen, Head of Marketing and Sales. A good opportunity for Ms. Kröger and Mr. Weiß to get a personal impression of how, where and by whom the diverse development projects for technologically demanding industries are realized at RST.

Ms. Kröger's fitting conclusion with regard to our far-reaching activities in the aerospace sector: "A piece of Rostock always flies with us."
