Data transmissiondemonstrator for theautomotive industry

The expansion of e-mobility is accompanied by a significantly increasing need for communication as well as high demands on communication speeds in vehicle control systems. Against the backdrop of these developments, RST Rostock System-Technik conducted a feasibility study on behalf of a well-known company from the automotive industry. The aim was to verify demanding, functional communication requirements for the existing system architecture and identify corresponding system limits.    

RST developed a demonstrator which serves as a test system for communication links. Specifically, this test system makes it possible to precisely analyse the timing and correct data transmission between the relevant system components at different line lengths under laboratory conditions. The development is based on high-performance system components and was in accordance with the current state of the art.
