Container for transportof semiconductorindustry equipment

Fawic BV specialises in industrial reusable packaging. Together with Fawic, RST Rostock System-Technik has developed a transport container especially for devices from the semiconductor industry. The container had to be designed for air and road transport, it had to protect the sensitive goods against dust and splash water and it had to fulfil the requirements of cleanliness class ISO 8. In addition, the container should also be fit for "roll on/roll off" loading of aircraft, in which the load boards and leaves the aircraft with its means of transport, without any further loading equipment.

RST designed a customised container with special dimensions, featuring a reinforced floor structure and standard ISO container corners. The hardware to be transported can be loaded and secured on special rails. The ISO 8 cleanliness class inside the container is guaranteed by an easy-to-clean and dust-tight closable container bonnet.
